Hana is so adorable, felt sad when she cried because of Ashito. But then she got payback by drop kicking him xD. Ashito's problem is that he wants to be the one to score the goals. Each one of the plans he talked about showed that.
Tbf, Ashito brought up some valid points. I like how they are expressing each character's point of view in this subject and making them more relatable towards their characters.
Yes, But the real reason that many of the players were in shock in the room will be explained in later episodes.
I feel like, here in the anime, it didn't show or express how shocked they were because of the fact he remembered the positions. It was more focused towards the rage of certain players not accepting Ashito because they felt Ashito is selfish in his plays when he's just acting like a forward should (at least in his perspective.). I think their rage is on a deeper psychological level and Ashito couldn't fathom their reason because it doesn't make sense to him. His teammates are overly competitive, and Ashito isn't aware that that is how they are brought up.
(Note: Your topic could be shown in next week's episode... or I might have just missed it since all I remember about this episode is how aggravated the blonde dude was, but I rather discuss it then when I acquire more information or see the scene you mentioned about how certain characters are shocked from Ashito.)
I agree, Looks like next episode ashito is gonna be a starter and is gonna play in the main team but if he messed this up he can't play for 3 months that's a huge risk for guy with talent that is still figuring it out
The words that ashito said is right but ashito doesn't know that Hana worked so hard to make that meal plan just for ashito and when Hana was crying and walk away without her bike she immediately kicked ashito and ride her bike and she gone now
Man i love Aoi's big ego. Its so nice to have an mc that feel's genuine he knows he got talent so he has an ego. Its much more realistic than Captain Tsubasa where the guy is a prodigy, knows everything but for some has no ego even though he play's attacker. Love Aoi ego is the problem isnt his ego its controlling it. The best attackers in the world Zlatan,Ronaldo, lewa, benzema or more modern Haaland, mbappe have big ego's but they know how to keep it under control and play with the team. Thats the biggest thing Aoi needs to learn: Harness that ego and keep it under control to allow himself to merge with the team.
Asari is angry at ashito because they took the spot of their youth camp buddies and ohtomo heard it they fought fair and square to get this spot it's only natural for ohtomo to get angry at asari for saying that words he crossed the line
Exactly, Asari crossed the line there. His friends were just NOT stronger or better than Ashito. There is no way the coach could have picked wrong in that whole situation.
also, forwards are supposed to be goal machines, but their thirst should be hidden to not cause ego problems for the rest of the team. Those of you who play forward in matches, understand that the others want to score as well. Even the goalkeeper sometimes leaves his post to score a goal.
as a former soccer player for a very well known youth team, this anime is very interesting to say the least and the personas of positions is spot on. GOOD Defenders are stoic and cooperative whilst GOOD Forwards are risky and self reliant. It comes down to the construction of the game with the odds of being scored on with a weak defense vs scoring on an opposing team with great offense. A good defender is inherently better than a good forward, yet a bad midfielder is worse than either. Covering ground in a game is more dangerous than the four seconds it takes to launch the ball at the net. This show is fantastic btw and forwards should be drilling the ball if given any reasonable window.
As an online football manager, I believe the game is made bet using midfielders. They are the secret to victory in my opinion, bcs the better and smarter they are, the better occasions they can build to score for any player! Not to say you should neglect the other positions, but having best midfielders increases the number of attempts at the goalie.
what does this even have to do with what the guy said?
the yellow hair boy really has some self entitlement issues,as if those spots belong to the people whom he approves.
no maybe you should take 10 days to understand also XD no thats not how things works yes thats a fact that he was angry in some level because of that but his friends wasnt....but if you watch and play football you will understand that they are soooo right about Aoi obssesion of scoring and his personality only make it worst, a forward has far more tasks in modern football than scoring actually scoring is 60% of his job as ST!!!! creating spaces and assisting others and most importantly NEVER TRY TO DRIBBLE IF YOUR TEAMMATES ARE FREE just dont if you not top at it and AOI is definity bad at dribbling but he keep loosing the ball 50 times in row i will punch his face if his my teammate and terminate his contract if im the manager... but this is why i like this anime its about a talented kid who have to grow up in mind and in sport and have lot to loarn, and his personality is crap selfish and self centered but im sure he will be a better person in the progress
I know that dont worry it was hard to miss... i watched the episode lol
Every player has a role, IF Aoi was a CAM(which he isn't) then he would be the offensive brain of the team but he's not; a strikers role is to score. Short passing and being able to retain the ball is all that is asked of a forward. Wingers, CAM, CDM, LB, RB they due most of the running and build up of plays and score when they see an opening. The forward just has to cash it in when the team needs him to finish, it's not about ego its about fulfilling what your position asks of you.
The problem with Aoi is not the fact that he wants to score. Is the fact that he does not try to play with the players behind them. In a pro match you will always see a FW playing with his midfielders but Aoi never actually tried to play with his midfielders. You can make a link with them and do so much. This is why they are mad at him. He does not communicate with his midfielders .
aoi inability to read the flow of the game is the problem and his whole game plan is centered on him .... if they are to change tactic he is always misplaced cause he cant read the flow of the game
Disagree its about both. Its not one or the other. The examples i listed fulfil their role and have an ego. Its just how it is with attacker's
I'm so sorry to tell you this but Aoi......
< Aoi will be a defender and he will never be a fowarder again
Lol i am not reading that spoiler though i am tempted. Already been spoiled on one thing
bet you already know what it is xd we all got spoiled on that on some earlier episode
Hmmm I think that is a first time MC
But by just watching this episode, I understood why...
I think that's part of Ashito's problem. There is nothing wrong with wanting to be the one to score the goals but I think his main problem lies in that he doesn't think of other ways for the goal to be scored. As a forward, you have to think of multiple opportunities to score and he does that just fine but he only thinks of solutions for him to score and not reading his teammates.
all I ever hear coming out of Ashito mouth is ME ME ME ME ME ME ME
so yeah... he need to tone that down, just because he is a forward doesn't mean he always have to be the one get the job done
she just forced her own ideas on him without caring that hes troubled by something, which is sth she obviously has no answer to.going about leading him here n there, slapping him on the back repeatedly or pranking him thinking shes doing him good by keeping him company, shes just doing it from her point of view not his.n his outburst is not unexpected, she knows very well hes the kind of loudmouth who blabs out everything he feels, yet she still chooses to get insulted n cry over it?what a joke.n resorting to violence by kicking him in the face?yeah i know,a kick in the face in anime terms may not be that severe as it is depicted as,but it was no excuse for violent behaviour.she owes him an apology, not the other way around.
ashito genuinely thought its his job to score goals else he'd be pointless,it seems.that yellow haired boy is just plain rude refusing to even have a discussion with him on that.
nah that's dumb never turn things physical
I think the issue they have with Ashito, is that his mentality hinders the team from having more tactics in which they are able to score a goal.
Ashito wanting to be the one to score, is what is keeping the team behind from making more combinations in which they are able to score. It's like making a combination from the numbers
1234, but the number 4 can't be switched (The 4 being Ashito). Then the combinations that are possible to make decreases to 1000 as to 10 000 when you can switch all the numbers around.
Yesss. Love the way you put it. This was like the perfect explanation. The fact that ashito doesn't realize this..
Since we saw what ashito was thinking in that chalkboard we now know that ashito just wants to score and score. Asari got angry hearing ashito says score and yeah they need to work as a team not just scoring the goal but also passing the ball
Thats the point of Forwards though. Sure there are other tactics invovled but their job and only job is to score. I guarantee the two had some teamwork with a previous player who go cut and they can't let it go
Ashito's gut feeling at the end was right: there's more to what they said. He'll figure it out eventually so don't worry. There's definitely a lack of willingness to accept the try-out members as teammates but asari and kuroda were angry for a valid reason.
I thought it was interesting to see Nozomi anxious about Ashito, we've only seen him as this cold, stern coach but he really does want to help him and is being strict in order to push Ashito. Seeing him fumble his fingers whilst talking to Fukuda made me see a new side to him that I wasn't expecting yet.
Seeing Ashito mentioning every idea he had with him being the only one scoring was a little hard to watch, I don't think there's anything wrong with him wanting to be the one to score but he's not thinking at all about other options where he doesn't score, there might have been easier or more certain plays that would have gotten them the goal but because he seems to narrowly aim to be the scorer he's closing the potential number of options he could play.
Lol Ohtomo in the class was so weird, like he was acting like a low-level villain or something with the way he was teasing Ashito, the way his tongue looked and moved about lol.
Yeah its funny to me. I remember when i was his age everyone who played attacker in the Amateur leagues were exactly the same. Obsessed with scoring and refusing to pass in most circumstances unless it meant they scored. He just needs to mature and learn to control his ego like the pro player's. I love how the anime has been so realistic in every aspect so far, Mentality, Skill and tactics. A proper football anime
So asari and that guy with the always closed eyes where angry because ashito wanted to score that goal himself instead of passing it to his teammate. Ashito really got angry hearing that he's the forward it's only natural for him to score
Ohtomo and asari was about to fight but those guys were holding them back and the classmates at back were like just watching them argue and fight, togashi just watching them and is not sleeping anymore
again, this has nothing to do what the guy just said. idk whats wrong with you... maybe you need to tone down on those firecrackers ya be smoking but you are not in the conversation at all.
I'm pretty sure our gangster once beat up a guy off their team back then for being annoying hahahaha I mean kuroda was looking at him and said he really was the one who crossed the line XD it wasn't because of ohtomo or asari or aoi hahahaha
I read it as his warning that Aoi and Ohtomo were not the only ones who "took spots on the team" via that tryout...
The thing for me was he already have squabbles between then before he even met Aoi back then. I mean they can be scared of him by little but no he was scared shitless so I took it as a dark pass between them
Hana licking that ice cream hehe
Ohtomo forgot his cologne for the cuties and he saw ashito is with that pretty girl
Ohtomo was happy that Hana is not in the same building as ashito so they will never meet a lot victory to ohtomo he wants all the girls to him lol
Hana dropped kick was a 10/10
The build up and psyche out was 👌
Those random guys were trying to hit on Hana but Hana doesn't care and then disappointed upset angry look face of ashito suddenly came and made those guys go away lol
Indeed it was PERFECTO
I like how this anime is going. Instead of giving us a perfect 10/10 protagonist, they gave us a flawed character realising what he's know throughout his entire life is nothing compared to what's lying ahead. He's forced to make mistakes and learn and grow from them. I don't remember the beginning of haikyuu but it feels like his experience is the exact opposite of Hinata.
I think they're kinda similar. When Haikyuu started Hinata has all the athletic skills but sucks at receiving. He's flawed too, and throughout the seasons you see him improving in each aspect of how he play - in blocking, receiving and attacking. But I love Ashito... Having flaws mean we can see him evolving.
Oh okay maybe it feels different because I binged haikyuu so it all went by so fast
